Laura, thank you.

First of all, you obviously have a strong desire, if you are willing to give it another try. Use that determination!!! You now know what to expect, and know the amount of time needed to study may be more, or maybe a different method of studying would benefit you.

Sometimes writing things out in a manner you can understand, and then studying that helps. Taping lectures, and listening to them in the car, and at home may help also.

I did everything I could...used different methods.

Again, use that determination, and push your way through!! Best of luck!

Mi'Shelle, this is a lovely website. Congratulations to you on your achievements.
I'm an older student. I'd taken pre-reqs. (received As & Bs) with only Physio and Micro to go. Bombed Physio! Am not sure if I'm capable of passing--need to re-take it, plus my self-esteem is wounded; never failed a class in my life. Any words of wisdom? I sooo want to be a nurse.

I spent many hours studying....plus, I looked up every type of bacteria that we would be tested on, and studied different views. I took pics of what I saw in the microscopes, and tried to find certain things that stood out for a certain bacteria type.

I cannot thank you enough for having this website. I am currently in my last co-req (micro) and have my lab practical and "unknown bacteria" at the end of April. The material here is invaluable.

Thank you and congrat's on getting through school and your new job. Hard work does eventually pay off! :)

Lisa...Congrats to you! I absolutely love the OR. It is a whole other world though. You have to be able to handle all types of personalities too, and not take things personally.

As far as challenges as a new grad, the OR has so much to learn before being on your own. It really humbles you.

I know the positions available for interns are scarce compared to many other areas, but if you really want it, you have to apply!

No, I do not have any regrets. I love my job, and it is truly my life's dream to work in the OR.

I am an El Centro/Northlake alumni and will be graduating (hopefully fingers crossed) in May. OR is something I have always wanted to do and am currently exploring all of the OR internships avail. TS, I'm sorry, but I don't know much about a MAC.

Try seeing if you can right click and 'view source' on the quiz page. If you scroll down, you may be able to see the answers, as well as the questions, among all the HTML code.

This is a quick fix, if it does work. I'll try to figure out something better. I know it does not work on with my Firefox that I am using now either, but I can see the source to see the answers.
